Android Mobile training
To make them aware about latest technology, training about using Android Mobile phones is provided to the blind people. Android mobile training for the blind focuses on using smartphones with the help of built-in accessibility features, primarily screen readers. These readers convert on-screen text and information into audio descriptions, allowing blind users to navigate their devices.
Here’s a quick rundown of what this training typically covers:
Advanced features: Some trainings may cover customizations, multitasking, and using the camera with image recognition apps like Lookout.
Understanding TalkBack (or other screen readers): This is the core skill, and training teaches you how to use gestures and commands to navigate the interface, interact with apps, and hear descriptions of what’s on screen.
Basic phone functions: Making calls, sending texts, using the calendar, and organizing contacts are all covered.
Downloading and managing apps: Learning to find accessible apps in the Play Store and understanding how to use them effectively with a screen reader.
