At Oshonic Vision for the blind welfare society, we have Free accommodation facility and separate hostel for Visually Impaired girls and boys. These hostels for the blind provide a safe and supportive living environment for visually impaired persons, for those pursuing vocational training and also pursuing education. These hostels go beyond just offering a roof overhead; they are designed to empower residents and foster independence.
2. Free Meals facility during the stay

Accessible Living:
- Have attached clean washrooms, 24 Hrs hot and cold-water facility, Solar water heater.
- The hostel building itself adheres to accessibility guidelines, with wide corridors, ramps, and tactile flooring to aid navigation.
- Rooms are designed for easy maneuvering, with ample space and strategically placed furniture..
3. Water Conservation
The center has built Rain Water harvesting storage tanks to conserve the rain Water and save it for later use. Mahabaleshwar received one of the highest rainfalls in the country but after monsoon period have to depend on water tankers. This water that is saved through harvesting of rain water is utilized in the hostel daily requirements. The latest Water tank was inaugurated by his excellency, Hon’ble governor of Maharashtra Shri Bhagatsingh Ji Koshiyari sir.
